Lily Liu, President of the Solana Foundation, believes blockchain is steadily moving from the fringes of tech into the core of global finance—driven largely by stablecoins and tokenized assets.
“This is another step toward the future we’ve long anticipated, where a wide range of financial assets—and even data—exist natively on-chain,” Liu said.
She explained that blockchains blur the lines between information and money: turning “money into data, and data into money.” The result, she noted, is a shared financial system open to anyone with an internet connection.
